Model: The X Series by Asus aims to be a versatile machine capable of above average performance. Design-wise, the X302’s slim built and dark colors appeal to those seeking for a premium-looking device. Users are given the option to customise the X302 with Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors. Its memory runs on 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3L. Customizations in terms of storage are also allowed on this device with a selection from 500 GB to 2 TB. Its screen is 13.3” in width with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. With graphics powered by an NVIDIA GeForce 920M with 2GB DDR3, visuals are delivered with stunning clarity. The Asus also boasts its ASUS Splendid technology, which renders accurate colors at different settings.
Sound quality is equally impressive as it is equipped with the high quality ASUS SonicMaster-enhanced audio. This device offers plenty of connections including a HDMI port, a USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports as well as a VGA port. Networking is supported by both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery life is touted to be capable of lasting for two weeks in standby mode. Its trackpad fitted with Smart Gesture technology gives users a Mac-like trackpad experience; thus, making this notebook even more functional for both, work and play.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
