Reviews for the Asus Chromebook CX1101

Chromebooks have found a niche during the pandemic, something Google and its partners always wanted – especially in a market like India. The Chromebook CX1101 comes with a strong build and battery life that lasts all day. The screen is okay, rather than outstanding and the design of the device is great. Chromebooks I feel are getting much better. They are reasonably priced, and the fact that they cater to users who want to use primarily web apps and simplistic computing tasks, Chromebooks work like a charm.

Intel UHD Graphics 600: Integrated low-end graphics adapter with DirectX 12 support, which can be found in some ULV SoCs from the Gemini Lake series. Compared to the HD Graphics 500, the 600 offers improved display outputs. Compared to the faster UHD Graphics 605, the 600 offers less shaders at lower clock speeds.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

This screen diagoal is quite large for tablets but small for subnotebooks. Some convertibles are also represented with that size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
In former time,s this weight was typical for big tablets, small subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 10-11 inch display-diagonal. Nowadays, often 15 inch laptops weigh as much.

80%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
