80% Asus Vivobook S 16 OLED Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English
The Asus Vivobook S 16 OLED proves mid-range laptops don’t have to be bland. Sure, it’s essentially a fairly high-performance everyday laptop with a bigger-than-most display and a trendy OLED panel, but there are other stand-outs. Asus uses an unusually deep and satisfying keyboard, which I find more comfortable to use for hours on end than many of the most expensive models around. This keyboard also has a gamer-style backlight that can be tuned to whatever colour you like. Elements of the design, most notably the plastic touchpad, mean it’s not in the same luxury league as a MacBook Air M3 or Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro, but to get either of those with 16GB RAM and a 512GB or 1TB SSD? You’re looking at big money.

80% ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED Review: top performer
Source: 91mobiles English
The ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED retails for Rs 1,16,990 in India. For its asking price, the device gets a lot right, offering a stunning display, great performance, and a lightweight, albeit durable, design. While you could get a better bang for your buck by opting for the Yoga 7i, you will miss out on a high-res display that refreshes at 120Hz. Correspondingly, those in the market for a dependable laptop with a top-notch screen will find a lot to like here.

Source: Root Nation English
The ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED (S5606M) is a wonderful laptop – modern, powerful, and stylish. Its optimal screen size for media content, coupled with a gorgeous OLED display, creates an explosive combination. There are enough ports for everyday tasks, and the keyboard is large and comfortable. The only slight disappointment is the quality of the touchpad, but otherwise, it’s not just a laptop, but a sweet treat! ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED (S5606M) is a superb laptop – modern, powerful, and stylish. Its optimal screen size for media content, combined with a gorgeous OLED display, creates an explosive combination.

90% ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED (S5606MA) review: thin and powerful laptop with high battery life
Source: Mezha EN English
ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED offers high performance in applied tasks, a high-quality 16-inch OLED screen and high autonomy - in office mode, its charge will last for 9 hours of operation. At the same time, the laptop has a thin and light metal case, so despite the size of the screen, it is easy to take with you on the road - it weighs only one and a half kilograms. This model is expected to go on sale in Ukraine in July, with exact prices currently unknown, but it is expected that the minimum configuration will start at around UAH 40 thousand.

The ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a powerful, portable, and visually stunning laptop. Its combination of a premium OLED display, top-notch performance, and a sleek design makes it a standout in its category. Whether you’re a student, professional, or content creator, this laptop has the versatility and power to meet your needs. Battery life could have been better and price could have been lower but other than there is nothing that should bother you about the device.

Review – ASUS Vivobook S 14 (S5406) and Vivobook S 16 (S5606): Affordable and powerful
Source: Tech Critter English
The standout feature of the Vivobook S series is its affordability. The 14-inch model starts at RM4,399, and the 16-inch at RM4,699. For the price, these laptops offer a premium design, robust specs, excellent displays, and solid battery life. Do have a look at these laptops as I think they’re very affordable.

Review – ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED (S5406) & Vivobook S 16 OLED (S5606)
Source: Manila Shaker English
The best part about the new Vivobook S series though, is the price. These two laptops, if equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, starts at RM4,399 for the 14-inch and RM4,699 for the 16-inch model. As what I said at the beginning of this video – they’re surprisingly affordable. No cap, I thought this laptop was going to be at least RM5k because of how premium it is. We have a great metal design, great specs, great screen, great keyboard and trackpad, great selection of ports, and also a great battery life. All this for below RM5k is actually a good price.

100% Asus Vivobook S16 (S5606) Review: An outstanding 16-inch lightweight OLED laptop
Source: It Pro English
You have plenty to choose from if you want a light, sleek 16-inch laptop with a high-quality display. The doyen of this category is Apple's 16.2-inch MacBook Pro, a machine that's hard to fault until you have to pay for it. Cheap it is not. Samsung will tempt you with the Galaxy Book 4 and Acer with the Swift X 16. Both are decent laptops, though the latter only features a 16-inch display in the more expensive Pro and Ultra models, and the former is rather lacklustre in design. That leaves a gap in the market for a cutting-edge 16-inch ultrabook that won't break the bank. And Asus' new Vivobook S16 may be just the ultrabook to plug that gap.

90% Asus Vivobook 16 Flip (TP3607) review: A gorgeous OLED and great battery life make for a compelling convertible
Source: Laptop Mag English
The Asus Vivobook 16 Flip is not a perfect laptop. It has a mushy membrane keyboard and a slightly distorted webcam feed. Then there’s the bottom-firing speakers which can limit the volume and audio quality when in laptop mode. That said, the Vivobook 16 Flip is a solid value. For just $1,349, you get a gorgeous 1800p OLED display, all-day battery life, reliable all-around performance, smooth iGPU graphics, and a responsive SSD. You can also access the full Copilot+ platform, Intel AI playground, an oversized touchpad, and a full-size keyboard. It checks all the boxes we set for our best 2-in-1 laptops. It’s also durable and features an understated design that can fit in at the office.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a major Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer based in Taipei, founded in 1989. Under the Asus brand name, the company manufactures a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, smartphones and networking equipment, complete systems and PC components for end users.

Under the ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand name, ASUS manufactures gaming laptops known by gamers for their powerful specifications, dedicated graphics cards, high refresh rate displays and advanced cooling systems.

Beyond gaming, a wide range of notebooks are offered for different needs and budgets, from ultra-slim and lightweight ultrabooks to versatile 2-in-1 convertibles and budget-friendly options. In 2023, Asus had a 7% global market share of the PC market.

Customer satisfaction with ASUS notebooks concerns performance, the features, and the good price-performance ratio of ASUS notebooks. However, as with any brand, there are occasional reports of problems such as overheating, driver compatibility, or build quality issues.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Arc 8-Core: Integrated graphics adapter based on the Xe LPG architecture (similar to the dedicated Arc GPUs, but with a focus on efficiency). Provides all 8 Xe cores (128 Xe vector engines) and 8 ray tracing units.

Intel Arc 140V: A pretty fast integrated graphics adapter that higher-end Intel Lunar Lake family processors employ. This is a direct successor to the Arc 8; it can drive three SUHD 4320p monitors simultaneously via HDMI 2.1, eDP 1.5 and DP 2.1. With the 140V, all 2023 and 2024 games are playable at 1080p on low graphics settings.

Intel Meteor Lake-H:

Ultra 7 155H: A high-end Meteor Lake chip that debuted in December 2023. This 1st Gen Core Ultra processor has come to replace 13th generation Core chips; it has 16 cores (6 + 8 + 2) and 22 threads at its disposal. Its Performance cores, of which there are 6, run at up to 4.8 GHz while its Efficient cores, of which there are 10 (8 main cores plus 2 extra ones found in the Low Power Island) run at up to 3.8 GHz. The integrated AI Boost NPU offers two Gen 3 engines for hardware AI workload acceleration. This laptop processor's Base power consumption is 28 W while its Turbo power consumption is supposed to stay within 115 W.

Intel Lunar Lake:

Core Ultra 7 258V: An upper mid-range Lunar Lake family processor. It sports 4 new Skymont E-cores and 4 new Lion Cove P-cores running at up to 3.7 GHz and 4.8 GHz respectively, along with the new Arc 140V iGPU and 32 GB of on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. It essentially matches the Core Ultra 7 165U and Core i7-1360P in multi-thread performance and it eats up to 37 W when under short-term workloads.

16.00:

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

87.36%: This is an above-average rating. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that about one fifth of all tested models receive a better rating.
