Asus appears to be preparing a feast for gamers after a new Ryzen 5000 laptop was spotted on Amazon China (via LaptopGuide). Details for the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS laptop with Cezanne-H/Ampere parts are still showing in the listing, although the picture is of a shower curtain and the price has been replaced by an “out of stock” label. However, it appears this promising behemoth will feature an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS APU and either an 8 GB (according to the listing product information) or 16 GB (page description text) version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.
Being a Ryzen 5000 laptop with a GeForce 30 Series GPU already makes the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 listed here sound like a tempting purchase, but then you also have to consider it comes with 16 GB RAM (8 GB soldered, 8 GB removable) and a 512 GB SSD (PCIe 3.0). The display should be sufficient for most with its 144 Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution, although it has been speculated that Asus will likely eventually offer 4K display options for the more-discerning gamer.

Bearing in mind, this is a laptop with a Zen 3 Ryzen 7 5800HS APU (expected 35 W TDP compared to 45 W for the Ryzen 7 5800H) and an RTX 3080 GPU with potentially up to 16 GB VRAM onboard, depending on which part of the listing is accurate. This 15.6-incher could be revealed, along with the rest of the company's upcoming lineup, during the Asus launch event at CES 2021 on January 13/14.
