Asus and Microsoft have now opened pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally X and the cheaper ROG Xbox Ally (curr. $599.99 on Amazon). Additionally, Microsoft recently unveiled official accessories for Asus' latest gaming handhelds too. For some reason, the former has still not started selling its accompanying ROG Raikiri II wireless controller despite officially unveiling it last month during Gamescom 2025.
In the meantime, billbil-kun has shared pricing expectations for Asus' new wireless controller ahead of time. To recap, the leaker previously believed that the company would eventually showcase a Pro version of the ROG Raikiri II, much like the Raikiri and Raikiri Pro before it. Apparently, that will no longer be the case, at least initially anyway.
Instead, billbil-kun now asserts that Asus has settled on $189.99 launch pricing for the Asus in the US. For context, this pricing represents a 26% increase on the ROG Raikiri Pro, which features additional hardware like a 1.3-inch OLED display. Unfortunately, it remains unclear when the ROG Raikiri II will actually be available to pre-order. Please see our launch article about Asus' latest wireless controller.
