The Asus ProArt PZ13 might be the ideal choice for users undecided between a laptop and a tablet. The hybrid features a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen with stylus support, Qualcomm's Snapdragon X1P-42-100 chipset, a 1 TB SSD, 16 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and a pair of USB4 ports.

Best Buy is currently offering the Asus ProArt PZ13 convertible for $849.99, marking a 22% discount from the list price. Its main selling point is the 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen, which can be detached from the keyboard, with a resolution of 2,880 × 1,800, stylus support, and 500 nits of peak brightness in HDR.

Powering the 2-in-1 is an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus SoC paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 memory as well as a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Further blurring the line between laptop and tablet, the PZ13 has a 13-megapixel rear camera that can record 4K video, in addition to the 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Unfortunately, connectivity isn't the machine's strong suit, as it's equipped with just two USB4 ports (DisplayPort Alt mode, Power Delivery) and an SD card reader. On the bright side, the FastConnect 7800 modem does support Wi-Fi 7 as well as Bluetooth 5.4.

The Asus convertible measures 11.71 × 7.99 × 0.35 inches (298 × 203 × 9 mm) and weighs just 1.87 lbs (0.85 kg), not bad considering that it packs a 70 Wh battery capable of charging at up to 65 W with the included USB-C power brick.

In our review, the Asus ProArt PZ13 made a good impression with its sturdy metal chassis, gorgeous OLED panel, and long battery life. Among its shortcomings would be the aggressive fan curve along with the lack of upgradability and maintenance options as the case cannot be opened by users.
