Asus ExpertCenter P700 mini tower PC arrives with AMD Gorgon Point APUs and GeForce RTX 5060 GPU

Asus has officially unveiled the ExpertCenter P700 SFF PC, featuring capable AMD chips and powerful discrete graphics. The mini tower also features MIL-STD-810H certification, which should be appreciated by folks who prioritize durability.
The P700 mini tower PC can be equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 APU paired with up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 memory. The Ryzen AI 7 445 is largely similar to the Ryzen AI 5 340, which happens to be a processor that is found in many laptops and mini PCs. In simpler terms, the 6-core, 12-thread APU should be able to handle most moderately intensive tasks. However, there is no doubt that a more powerful 8-core or higher processor would have been a much better choice.

Moreover, the P700 mini tower makes good use of its 15-liter chassis by housing discrete GPUs, up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 ( currently $339 on Amazon) with 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Ultimate performance will depend on how well Asus manages to handle thermals, but it would be safe to expect good admirable performance in AAA gaming at modest settings as well productivity workflows.

The 45-watt CPU allows the cooling system to run quiet, with Asus claiming only 27.8 dB under sustained loads. Of course, the real-world performance of the cooling system and system temperatures will only be revealed after independent testing. The I/O on offer is as follows:
- Triple USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, dual USB 2.0 Type-A
- Single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 (HBR2)
- Smart card reader, SD card reader (optional)
- 1G Ethernet
- Audio combo, line in, line out, and mic jacks with 7.1 channel output
At just around 11.6 x 6.1 x 13.6 inches, the Asus ExpertCenter P700 mini tower is quite compact indeed, and weighs as little as just 13.2 lbs or 6 kg. Storage requirements are handled by a 3.5" HDD (up to 2 TB), as well as an M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD (up to 1 TB). Pricing and availability details are not clear as of this writing.
