Apple releases macOS Ventura 13.3 with numerous changes and improvements, plus new Studio Display firmware
Apple has pushed a stable version of macOS Ventura 13.3, just over two months after issuing macOS Ventura 13.2. Additionally, the stable version of macOS Ventura 13.3 arrives following roughly five weeks of public beta testing. Also, Apple recently started updating eligible devices to iOS 16.4, iPadOS 16.4, tvOS 16.4 and watchOS 9.4, which we have discussed separately.
As for macOS Ventura 13.3, Apple claims to have introduced the same 21 new emojis as its iPhone, iPad and Watch counterparts. Moreover, the new macOS update refines the Freeform app by introducing the object of removing the background from a desired image. Also, macOS can now detect duplicate photos and videos in an iCloud Shared Photo Library, which was not possible with previous versions of macOS Ventura.
Meanwhile, macOS Ventura 13.3 bundles a new firmware update for the Apple Studio Display. Once updated to the latest version of macOS, it is then possible to upgrade the Apple Studio Display to v16.4, mirroring iOS, iPadOS and tvOS. According to Apple, the latest firmware for the Apple Studio Display adds 'Pro Display Calibrator', a colour recalibration tool that the company discusses in a support document.
