Anbernic has not let a month go by this year without releasing at least a new gaming handheld. To that end, less than three weeks has passed since the arrival of the RG406H with a 4-inch display, a Unisoc T820 chipset and 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM just like the slightly older RG406V.
As a result, it should come as no surprise to learn that Anbernic is preparing to release a new gaming handheld before the end of the year. This time, the company has now confirmed the existence of the RG34XX, shortly after photos of the device leaked online. Ultimately, Anbernic's latest gaming handheld is a rip-off of the Game Boy Advance, arguably more so than the RG35XX SP (curr. $76.99 on Amazon) is of the Game Boy Advance.

To that end, Anbernic has revealed the RG34XX in Indigo, Transparent Green, Transparent Red and Black finishes. Moreover, the device has angled Start and Select buttons, as well as a front-firing speaker hidden behind four angled cut-outs in its compact casing. Likewise, the RG34XX features a power LED and d-pad.
However, Anbernic has added a second row of action buttons and a second set of triggers. Based on the specifications confirmed so far like a 3.4-inch display and a 3,500 mAh battery, we suspect that the RG34XX will rely upon Anbernic's favoured Allwinner H700 chipset. While a release date and full specifications are unknown for now, we imagine that Anbernic will reveal more in the next few days.
