Ai+ teases new 5G tablet with 11.97-inch 90Hz display

Ai+ has teased the NovaTab tablet, giving us a first look at several of its key specifications. The new tablet follows Ai+'s recently teased LapTab, which takes a more laptop-like approach with a keyboard, stylus and PC Mode.
The NovaTab has an 11.97-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Ai+ has not shared the display resolution or other panel details yet.
At 11.97 inches, the NovaTab is slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ (currently available on Amazon), which has an 11-inch display and is comes with 5G. Samsung's tablet uses an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz, while the NovaTab uses the Unisoc T760. The NovaTab also supports 5G and Wi-Fi.
For cameras, the NovaTab has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Ai+ highlights the cameras for everyday use, including video calls, classes and conversations.
The tablet is also shown as “Powered by nxtq.” Ai+ has not shared further software details for the NovaTab.
The NovaTab 5G will join Ai+'s existing tablet lineup, including the PulseTab, which has a 10.95-inch 90Hz display, Helio G88, Wi-Fi + 4G, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and an 8,000mAh battery. The PulseTab is currently priced from ₹13,999 (about $146), so the NovaTab 5G could also target the budget tablet segment, although its price has not been announced.
Indian technology brand Ai+ has not yet revealed the NovaTab 5G's battery capacity. The company's recently teased LapTab, meanwhile, has a 10,000mAh battery and 33W charging, along with dual-SIM and expandable storage support.
Other details, including RAM, storage, charging speed, dimensions and weight, have also not been revealed. Ai+ has not announced a release date, and the tablet is currently listed as “Coming Soon” on Flipkart.
