Seiko makes a metric ton of classy watches that go along with almost any attire at various price points. For those on the lookout for a new watch without having to shell out several hundreds of dollars, the Seiko SUR525P1 with a 40.2 mm case and quartz movement might just be a great start.
At just $158.40, the Seiko SUR525 is now 40% cheaper than its typical list price. The seller, "World of Watches", boasts a 95% positive rating on Amazon, which is always good to hear. Even if things do go wrong for whatever reason, buyers can return the product within January 31, 2026.
Price trackers, such as Camelcamelcamel reveal that the current price for the Seiko SUR525 is indeed its lowest-ever on Amazon. Compared to the previous all-time low of $187.50, the watch is now another $29 cheaper. It is possible that the price may drop even further during Black Friday, but that remains to be seen.
The 40.2 mm case is made from stainless steel, and houses a blue dial with hands that feature LumiBrite for night-time viewing. Seiko's decently robust 6N52 movement is utilized, which happens to be an analog quartz movement with no jewels, as is to be expected. Solar charging is not present, although the 3-year battery life should make up for it.
Needless to say, beauty is a subjective matter. However, the Seiko SUR525 sports a very minimal and classy design, granting the watch a good amount of versatility. Unsurprisingly, 100-meter water resistance is also on offer, and the sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant. At its current sale price on Amazon, the Seiko SUR525 is undoubtedly a decent option for an affordable yet classy timepiece.
