Affordable AMD-powered Beelink NAS launches with 136TB storage support

Beelink has introduced a new ME Pro NAS in China, and it's powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255. This Hawk Point APU features an identical configuration to the Ryzen 7 8745H, and it comes with the capable Radeon 780M.

There are a total of four M.2 slots, among which three can hold PCIe 4.0 x4 drives, and one can be equipped with a PCIe 4.0 x1 drive. It's also worth noting that each maxes out with 4TB support, meaning the NAS can be equipped with 16TB of fast drives.

That storage can be paired with four 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives, making the total drive slots stand at eight. Beelink notes that the NAS can hold up to a 30TB drive in each upper bay, making the four-bay SATA storage support stand at 120TB (12TB Seagate IronWolf Pro curr. $429.99 Amazon). In total, however, the total support stands at 136TB.

Another highlight of the NAS is that it comes with one 2.5G and one 10G Ethernet port. Such a setup will enable fast transfers and backups. In addition to these two, the AMD Beelink ME Pro comes with the following ports:

• 3x USB 3 Gen 2 Type-A
• 1x USB4
• 1x 3.5mm audio

For wireless connectivity, the system features WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Beelink further highlights that the cooling setup of the NAS can keep the CPU temperature at around 41° Celsius (105.8° Fahrenheit) and the drives at around 43° Celsius (109.4° Fahrenheit) during load.

Price-wise, the model with the Ryzen 7 H 255 starts at CNY 2,739, about $403, which is for the barebone variant. There's another configuration with 32GB of RAM and 500GB of storage, which has launched at CNY 5,599, about $824. Beelink already offers other variants of the ME Pro NAS in the global market, and this AMD-powered model is also expected to be available outside China.
