Adobe has announced a myriad of new features for its Creative Cloud products at Adobe Max 2025, a yearly event publicizing and promoting its software products. Most of the new features are AI-powered, enabling artists to create work more quickly and easily.
Photoshop gains access to more generative AI models that can create images based on text prompts. These AI images can be automatically blended into existing photos using the new Harmonize feature, along with AI image upscaling provided by Topaz Labs.
Premiere benefits from AI Object Mask, which simplifies the creation of accurate masks for SFX rotoscoping, and adds dozens and dozens of GPU-accelerated, real-time transitions and effects.
Illustrator gains several quality-of-life features like live brush previews as one draws. It can now rotate a 2D vector drawing in 3D, automatically redrawing characters and objects from the new perspective, thanks to Firefly AI integration.
Firefly gains the ability to be personalized for each user, generating AI images that match the look and style of uploaded references. Companies can benefit from the newly introduced Firefly Foundry, a managed service that contains all the intellectual property (IP) of a company for use in generating matching audio, images, and videos for exclusive use.
