The new Pentium Silver N5000 quad-core processor has significantly more computing power than its predecessor, advancing into the range of earlier Core-i3 processors with this. You have to pay almost 600 Euros (~$707) for the whole package.

If you are shopping for a new laptop for work or study purposes and you’re on a tight budget, I can recommend the Acer Swift 1 as a good option. It’s not quite the bargain of the century – you will need to keep an eye on that battery and it’s not suitable for even the lightest of photo editing tasks – but for word processing, web browsing, emails and a spot of occasional Netflix, it’s fine, not to mention cheap. Just go easy on it.

Intel UHD Graphics 605: Integrated low-end graphics adapter with DirectX 12 support, which can be found in some ULV SoCs from the Gemini Lake series. Compared to the HD Graphics 505, the 605 offers improved display outputs.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
