As configured, the Acer ALG will set you back by Rs 62,990. For the price, the laptop delivers where it matters most and offers a good gaming experience at 1080p resolution. It also sports an elegant design, although leaves a bit to be desired in the ports and battery department. Regardless, for the price, the laptop gets a recommendation from us.

The Acer ALG AL15G-52 is a solid pick for budget gamers and students, offering great performance and value for just ₹64,999. The Intel Core i5-12450H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 on this laptop can handle most modern games on medium to high settings without breaking a sweat. However, the slower RAM and slightly lower TGP on the RTX 3050 might hold it back a bit in more demanding games. Overall, it’s a strong choice if you’re looking for a gaming laptop that doesn’t cost a fortune. Acer ALG is a “new” lineup of pocket-friendly gaming laptops from Acer. We say “new” because the ALG stands for Aspire Lite Gaming, so it’s technically a rebranding of Acer’s Aspire Gaming lineup of laptops.

In conclusion, the Acer Aspire Lite falls short in its primary role: being a good laptop. There are a few key issues. First, the TN panel offers only average display quality. Second, while it does come with 8GB of RAM, the fact that it has an additional slot yet doesn’t offer more out-of-the-box is disappointing in 2024. Lastly, despite having ample space, Acer opted for a smaller battery. On the plus side, we applaud the laptop’s solid build quality and impressive speakers. Ultimately, the decision is yours: Do the pros outweigh the cons, or are the shortcomings too significant to ignore?

77%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
