Pros
Cons
The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 R725T is a compact 11.6-inch ChromeOS convertible aimed at basic productivity, browsing, and student-style use. It features a touchscreen, 360-degree hinge, 8 GB of DDR5 memory, eMMC storage options, Wi-Fi 6, and a 45 Wh battery. Reviewers praise its durability, portability, comfortable keyboard, and dependable endurance. Its rugged build and practical 2-in-1 format make it suitable for simple daily tasks rather than demanding workloads. However, the 1366 x 768 display is considered dated, and performance is limited by modest hardware and integrated ARM Mali-G57 MP2 graphics. With an aggregate rating of 75%, it is viewed as a good budget Chromebook, though competing models may offer better screens and connectivity for similar money.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 (2026) is a decent small-form-factor Chromebook with solid endurance, okay power for basic tasks and a comfortable keyboard to boot. The screen here feels a little low-res in 2026, while its port selection also isn’t as strong as rivals. For instance, the Acer Chromebook Spin 312 model ups the screen size a smidgen, but also brings the resolution to Full HD. It also has a much further-reaching set of ports, and matches this smaller choice in battery life. It’s also around the same price in terms of RRP, making it a bit of a no-brainer in my eyes. The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 is a rugged, budget-friendly 2-in-1 that prioritises durability and utility over raw power or aesthetics. While its MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor and low-resolution display won't win any awards for performance, its 360-degree hinge, responsive touchscreen, and MIL-STD 810H military-grade toughness make it a highly capable companion device for simple tasks.
