On paper, this particular Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 looks like one that serves the cheaper side of the gaming laptop segment, so surely it’s still comparatively cheap despite the pricing shock, right? Well… bear with us while we write the price in bold, red text: RM7,999. We’re not joking – you’re paying THAT much for just RTX 5050, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, even if the rest of the chassis is pretty solid. As the internet says these days: You do not hate Sam Altman enough.
