ASUS Zenfone 11 reveals itself running Android 14 with flagship hardware
Fresh details about ASUS' next flagship smartphone have surfaced online. To recap, references to the Zenfone 11 Ultra were discovered last month on the Bluetooth SIG alongside the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. While ASUS has now announced its latest ROG Phone flagships, the Zenfone 11 remains unreleased.
Subsequently, the likes of @stufflistings spotted the Zenfone 11 Ultra again with the model number ASUS_AI2041_H but at the SDPPI in Indonesia. Now, 91mobiles has shared evidence of the Zenfone 11 at the Google Play Console, a screenshot of which we have embedded below. For context, the Google Play Console links the Zenfone 11 to 'ASUS_AI2401_D', a model number that was previously thought to belong to the ROG Phone 8 series.
Unsurprisingly, the listing reports that the handset features 'SM8650' the codename for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a direct successor to the SoC in the Zenfone 10 (curr. $629.99 on Amazon). Additionally, the listing describes there being at least one Zenfone 11 variant with 16 GB of RAM. Moreover, the handset is said to have Android 14 pre-installed, plus a 1080p display like its predecessor. Unfortunately, other details remain unknown for now, including a release date.
