The ASRock Phantom Gaming PGO27QFS2A is a forthcoming OLED gaming monitor that will operate natively at 1440p and 240 Hz. ASRock has confirmed several other details too, including VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification and HDMI 2.1 connectivity, among other features.

The PGO27QFS2A is another monitor that will sit within ASRock's Phantom Gaming brand. Possibly the only monitor pictured in its press release, the PGO27QFS2A measures 27-inches across, as its name implies. According to ASRock, the monitor relies upon an LG Display WOLED panel that outputs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and 240 Hz.

Thus, the PGO27QFS2A may share its panel with the UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE, a monitor that LG showcased during CES 2024 but announced in late December 2023. Like ASRock's other new monitors, not all PGO27QFS2A specifications are known yet. Instead, ASRock has confirmed that the PGO27QFS2A is AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified. For reference, the latter guarantees 400 nits peak brightness, a 0.0005 cd/m² permissible black level and a superior contrast ratio than its VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified counterparts.

Assuming the PGO27QFS2A features the same panel as the UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE, then it will also have a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.03 ms GtG response times and 98.5% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Moreover, the monitor should support NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and not just AMD FreeSync Premium. On top of that, the PGO27QFS2A has a pair of DisplayPort 1.4 ports and a single HDMI 2.1 connection like the UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE, but also a USB hub with twin USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, the monitor will feature Wi-Fi connectivity like many of ASRock's recent monitors and a stand that supports height, swivel and tilt adjustments. A launch date is unconfirmed for the time being, though, as is launch pricing.
