AOC Agon Pro: Price revealed for new 34-inch tandem OLED gaming monitor with 1300 nits peak brightness

A while back, we covered an updated gaming monitor from AOC, featuring an impressive 5-layer tandem OLED panel. The 34-inch Agon Pro AGP346UCSD ultrawide curved gaming monitor was also revealed to have a 21:9 display featuring a resolution of 3440 x 1440, and a refresh rate of 360 Hz.
Courtesy of its V-Stripe sub pixel layout, the panel's text clarity should also impress compared to other QD-OLED panels with triangular subpixel layouts. AOC claims a peak brightness of an astonishing 1,300 nits in small areas, although no claims were made regarding sustained full-screen brightness.
Other notable details of the Agon Pro tandem OLED gaming monitor includes 100% and 99% coverage of the sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut respectively with impressive color accuracy (ΔE<1), an aggressive 800R curvature, improved black levels in brightly lit environments, as well as a healthy array of ports including DisplayPort 2.1, dual HDMI 2.1, USB-C with 15W PD and DP Alt, USB-B, and triple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

RGB lovers will likely also appreciate the asymmetric pentagonal lighting setup on its back. KVM and P-in-P as well as P-by-P functionality are also on offer. What was unclear at the time of its unveiling was its price, which is no longer true.
Pricing and availability
The AOC Agon Pro AGP346UCSD is now available for pre-order over on the Chinese JD.com, priced at 6,999 Yuan or roughly $1,025. A global launch is not in sight for now, but it should be noted that AOC does like to bring its product outside of China, and the latest Agon Pro is unlikely to be an exception. Folks who would prefer a cheaper alternative can check out the 34-inch LG 34GS95QE OLED, currently available for $800 on Amazon.
