2024 Lenovo Legion R9000P launches with performance-focused specs
The 2024 Lenovo Legion R9000P is now official, and it brings performance focused-specs. Starting at CNY 9,299 (around $1,282), the gaming laptop sports the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX, a high-end processor from the Dragon Range lineup. Paired with the Nvidia RTX 4060, it has what it takes to run most games smoothly at max visual settings.
For cooling, the 2024 Legion R9000P sports what the company calls Frost Blade Pro Cooling System 5.0. This is said to allow the discrete GPU to deliver 140W of performance. As for the screen, the gaming laptop has an upgraded 16-inch panel with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, 240 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3, and 10-bit color.
There are a good number of connectivity ports as well, including four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and one HDMI 2.1. Other notable features include 140W PD support through one of the Type-C ports, Nahimic audio, WiFi 6E, DisplayHDR 400, and Dolby Vision.
Lenovo has yet to share details on global availability and pricing, but the company generally rebrands the R9000P laptop as Legion Pro 5 in the international markets (Legion 7i with 14th gen i7 and RTX 4060 curr. $1,449.99 on Best Buy).
