2024 Lenovo Legion R7000 launches with a newly released AMD processor

The 2024 Lenovo Legion R7000 has made its official debut in China. It comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 8745H, a recently launched Hawk Point CPU. As we've covered, it's a slightly less capable variant of the Ryzen 7 8845HS, and it doesn't have the AMD XDNA NPU.

Lenovo has paired this new Hawk Point processor with up to Nvidia RTX 4060, while the base model features the RTX 4050. For cooling, the gaming laptop has Frost Blade Cooling System 5.0, which features four heat pipes. It is said to allow the RTX 4060 to deliver 125W of performance.

Screen-wise, the 2024 Lenovo Legion R7000 features a 15.6-inch IPS panel with 1080p resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB coverage, and Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync support. Like the other gaming laptops from the company, it features a good number of connectivity ports, including three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with PD, and one HDMI 2.1 port.

Other highlights of the gaming laptop include Nahimic audio, fast charging support, and a TrueStrike keyboard. The RTX 4050 variant is currently priced at CNY 6699 (around $923), while the RTX 4060 variant costs CNY 6999 (about $965). It's unclear whether Lenovo will rebrand the 2024 Legion R7000 for the international markets.
