Unannounced Huawei gaming laptop gets spotted at ChinaJoy 2024 expo

Huawei's laptop lineup primarily consists of productivity-focused systems, and there aren't any offerings that target gamers. But that will likely change soon. An unannounced Huawei gaming laptop has made its appearance at the ChinaJoy 2024 expo.

There's no official word on the model name, but it's suspected to be the MateBook GT 14. The retail packaging box that was spotted also highlights the "GT" logo and the bottom plate of the gaming laptop has the logo too. As for the system itself, it appears to sport a different design than the other Huawei laptops.

This unreleased gaming laptop has a slim design with wide air vents on the back, two USB ports, and one HDMI out. The back also features a Huawei logo with lights, which isn't something you generally see on the company's offering. As for the front, judging by the viewing angle, it seems to be an IPS panel with slim bezels. Other details and the core specs of the system are not known yet.

It's unclear whether this Huawei gaming laptop will launch as the MateBook GT 14 or something else. However, as the unit has made its appearance at a public expo, the company may share official details soon.
