The spec sheet of the Nova Flip was published on X by Raihan Han (@raihahan121), and they reveal the phone's key details. The foldable phone will have a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED panel as the main display. It will also have a 2.1-inch 60Hz OLED cover display, which is not only the largest cover display on a Huawei clamshell foldable, but also a square one unlike the round cover display of the Huawei P50 Pocket and the Huawei Pocket 2.

The Nova Flip will be powered by Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 5G chipset and it will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Unfortunately, the RAM and storage variants are currently unknown. The phone will sport a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back while a 32MP camera sits inside a cut-out in the main display.
Under the hood of the Nova Flip is a 4,000mAh battery. While it is significantly smaller than the 4,520mAh battery of the Huawei Pocket 2 that launched earlier this year, it supports 66W fast wired charging too. Sadly, it lacks support for wireless charging like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 (available on Amazon for $1099), but charges faster than the Galaxy Z Flip 6's 25W wired charging.
The Huawei Nova Flip will ship with HarmonyOS 4.2 with AI features. It will also have stereo speakers, two microphones, a fingerprint scanner, and support for face unlock. A teaser video already revealed what the phone looks like, but it only showed the phone in green. However, Huawei has released new photos confirming the Nova Flip will also be available in white, black, and pink when it launches next week.
