SD X Elite-powered ThinkPad T14s G6 officially launched in China with up to 2.8K OLED display and 29-hour runtime
Lenovo has officially launched the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, equipped with a 12-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, in China. The product has been available in Europe for a while now; here is our review on the 1200p IPS, X1E-78-100 powered model, for those interested. The SKU that's launching in China features a stunning 2.8K OLED display while costing 11,999 yuan, or around $1,650, meaning it's one of the more premium laptops within the ThinkPad lineup.
Other key specs include the 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB SSD. The laptop's 14-inch OLED display has advanced anti-glare technology and HDR support. Lenovo claims a remarkable 29-hour battery life; in our testing, we got up to 22 hours 29 minutes which is still impressive. The laptop has a 58 Wh battery while tipping the scales at just slightly more than 1.2kg (~2.7 pounds) and being 16.9mm (0.67 inches) thick.
The T14s Gen 6 features the classic ThinkPad design including dedicated mouse buttons and a TrackPoint. Unlike some previous T14s Gen 4 designs, the device features a dual-fan cooling system to handle the powerful Snapdragon X Elite SoC.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo T14s offers a robust port selection, including USB-A, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack.
