Missed the Amazon Prime Day hot deals from last month? Fret not, Ebay has even better deals almost every week. One of the highlights for this week is the 16-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 with AMD Hawk Point processor that is discounted down to just $529.99.

As with most discounted Lenovo notebooks, this model also has the subpar IPS LCD display with 65% sRGB color gamut, which is also limited to 1920 x 1200 resolution and 300 nit max brightness. Other than that, the value proposition is as solid as it gets at this price point.

Powering the notebook is the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS with 8 cores and 16 threads that can boost up to 5.1 GHz, plus it integrates the Radeon 780M GPU with 12 CUs. This is complemented by 16 GB LPDDR5X-6400 (non-upgradeable) and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage.

Port selection does not include USB4 connectors, as expected for this price, but it does come with a microSD card reader. Additionally, there are 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, an HDMI 1.4b video out and an audio jack. Internet connectivity is provided through a Wi-Fi 6 + BT 5.2 card.
