For example, the latest RTX 4070-powered Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 has now dropped to its lowest price thus far.

Once again, this gaming laptop deal is available at Best Buy, which has discounted the 2024 Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 model with Intel's latest Ultra 9 185H flagship CPU as well as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card by $300. As mentioned above, the resulting sale price of $1,699 is the lowest ever for this specific configuration of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop, which also sports 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, a 1TB SSD and a very good OLED display.

The OLED gaming laptop's all-new aluminum chassis is definitely an eye catcher and well-built, but due to its thinness the memory is now soldered and not upgradable after purchase, which is a major drawback.

Furthermore, we criticized that the RTX 4070 variant of the 2024 Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 does not come with a vapor chamber. On the other hand, we enjoyed the 240Hz QHD OLED screen with G-Sync compatibility as well as the fantastic speakers and input devices. Although Asus' latest 16-inch notebook is not perfect, it offers an appealing mix between gaming and multimedia laptop.
