iQOO teases top-end display specs for its upcoming 10-series flagship smartphones
The iQOO 9 series launched in early 2022 with some of the best mobile display specs around. Now, their maker asserts that their iterative mid-year refreshed models will not let them down in this regard. In fact, the 10 Pro now seems primed to upgrade on its immediate predecessors in some ways.
iQOO will launch this device, alongside its vanilla 10 sibling, on July 19, 2022. However, it has found itself unable to wait until then to announce the E5 technology-enhanced, HDR10+, 10-bit and apparently 1,500-nit panel destined for its new top-end smartphone line.
Furthermore, this display is to be 2K in resolution and to have a ΔE value brought down as low as 0.32. It is apparent that the screen in question is curved to some degree, although its bezels seem narrow and nearly constant in width all around the screen. That detail has given rise to speculation that all of these specs apply to the 10 Pro only, as the 10 just might have a flat panel instead.
iQOO also now boasts of a cooling system with a vapor chamber of 3930mm² in size, a mid-frame made of aviation-grade aluminum and the use of "Submicron" thermal conductive gel in the 10 series. One of its units should also be capable of connecting to 2 Bluetooth devices at once, and exhibit a new "atomic" notes feature in its build of OriginOS based on Android.
