Update: iQOO has just posted a new "Coming Soon" page on Amazon.in for the 9T, a smartphone freshly revealed to look very like the 10-series' Legendary Edition (BMW tricolors, V1+ logo and all) on its presumably imminent launch.
Accordingly, the OEM is already promising "powerful" cameras, as well as performance and charging, in the upcoming flagship refresh. Then again, there is still no hint of an upgrade to the new 200W technology rumored to debut in the 10 Pro later in July 2022.
Original Article: iQOO has confirmed that it will launch updated flagship smartphones later in July 2022 - albeit in China only to start off with. However, according to the tipster Mukul Sharma, it will also release a device for other markets, which, while also high-end, may not quite match the 10 series in terms of speed.
It will apparently be called the 9T, and is now being painted as a flagship refresh with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in place of the 8 Gen 1 of the 9 or 9 Pro. Sharma also now asserts that it will also have their 120Hz Samsung E5 AMOLED display, but will have the V1+ image signal processor (ISP) made in-house by iQOO's owner Vivo.
The co-processor will apparently enhance the 9 Pro's 50MP ISOCELL GN5 "with Real-Time Extreme Night Vision" as a main camera. The 9T will also apparently ship with 120W FlashCharge, which, while among some of the fastest charging specs in the world, may fall short of the 200W upgrade currently being hinted at for the full-fat 10 series. All in all, this "9T" is being construed as a direct 9 or 9 Pro refresh with an updated SoC if little else.
