Xiaomi's official Mi India Twitter channel has confirmed that the division will launch the Mi Watch Revolve Active soon. A new teaser for the upcoming wearable shows that it does indeed look as this name suggests, which is a new variant of the pre-existing Revolve (also known as the Mi Watch or Mi Watch Color in different regions), which debuted as the OEM's first round-faced wearable some time ago.
Mi India has also already revealed that the Revolve Active will reprise many of the original Revolve's most important and powerful health-tracking attributes, SpO2 and VO2Max monitoring included. It will also track stress, sleep, heart-rate and "body energy", as its immediate predecessor did.
On the other hand, Xiaomi also seems to have developed a new concept ("Watchful Living") in order to set this Revolve Active apart. It might encompass a new emphasis on mental health, as well as more "style" in the UI (such as personalized or photo-based watchfaces) and the wearable's choice of bands.
Furthermore, the OEM has hinted at a greater number of sports modes in its impending Mi Watch refresh. It will launch on June 22, 2021 at 12:00 IST, although Xiaomi has yet to drop any hints as to its price. For context, the Revolve started at INR 15,999 (~US$219), although it can be found for up to INR 6,000 (~$82) less (presumably due to its impending upgrade) at present.
