Xiaomi has pitched its latest version of its 2020 14-inch laptop at students in need of new remote learning hardware. It has many specs in common with its pre-existing vanilla and Horizon siblings, although it has a 10th-gen Core i3 CPU and an in-built webcam this time. At INR 34,999 (~US$473), it is also now the cheapest Mi Notebook 14 available in India.

Xiaomi has developed a new variant of the Mi Notebook 14 specifically directed at students in need of a laptop optimized for accessing their educational content online. Like the rest of its series, it has a metallic unibody, finished in a shade of silver for this new edition, which also goes clear of any branding on its lid.

The Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition also still has the same FHD IPS display, although this version has a 720p webcam set into the top of its bezel (whereas the standard version comes with a separate camera in the box). It also still has the same range of ports, which include a 3.5mm jack and dual USB type-A 3.1 ports for "seamless transfer and networking" (still no Thunderbolt 3, though).

However, this new-ish Mi Notebook has a Core i3-10110U processor rather than the i5-10210U to i7-10510U options in the 14 or 14 Horizon. There is also just 1 8GB RAM/256GB SSD SKU here. Accordingly, its price is set at INR 34,999 at present, whereas the vanilla 14 remains at INR 41,999 (~US$568) and the highest-end model starts at INR 51,999 (~$703). It is available to purchase from Xiaomi India's website or Amazon.in from now.
