Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro: European pricing, launch window and colours leak

According to @_snoopytech_, Xiaomi is preparing to showcase a smartwatch during MWC 2023 alongside the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 13 Lite, a re-branded CIVI 2. As we discussed earlier this month, Xiaomi will announce new hardware on February 26, a day before MWC 2023 starts. However, the company has also outlined that it will bring new hardware to this year's trade show in Barcelona.

Surprisingly, the smartwatch in question is not the Watch 2, despite its recent appearance at SIRIM in Malaysia. Instead, @_snoopytech_ asserts that the Watch S1 Pro is next in line for release globally, despite being six months old at this point. Additionally, the leaker has shared apparent hands-on photos with Watch S1 Pro global models running MIUI Watch, a proprietary operating system. While the leaked images do not necessarily confirm that the smartwatches shown are global models, they are the Watch S1 Pro in its black and silver colourways.

For reference, both models have stainless steel cases. Xiaomi distinguishes them by their watch straps, as is also the case with the Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active. @_snoopytech_ claims that Xiaomi will sell the Watch S1 Pro for €299, a €70 uplift over the Watch S1 and €120 more expensive than the Watch S1 Active. For that price increase, Xiaomi includes a larger display, a CNC-milled digital crown and a 6.5% larger battery.
