Xiaomi has now released its first POCO-branded tablet. As expected, the POCO Pad joined the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro today during Xiaomi's POCO F6 series event, full coverage of which you can find via the hyperlinks for each smartphone. Ultimately, the POCO Pad serves as a larger alternative to the Xiaomi Pad 6 (curr. $319.50 on Amazon), which arrived last year.
Specifically, Xiaomi equips the POCO Pad with a 12.1-inch IPS display that outputs at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, the large display delivers 600 nits full surface brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate, unlike many of its contemporaries. On top of that, Xiaomi protects the tablet with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which sits above an 8 MP front-facing camera and slim bezels.
Furthermore, the POCO Pad only has an 8 MP rear-facing camera, despite the appearance of its large camera housing. Elsewhere, the POCO Pad features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging. In other words, the tablet is an exact replica of the Redmi Pad Pro that Xiaomi released globally a few days ago. Currently, Xiaomi is only selling the POCO Pad through AliExpress, where it is available for $329 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The tablet should eventually be orderable with a detachable keyboard and stylus for $79 and $59, respectively.
