VELLO Bike+ Titanium ultra-lightweight e-bike weighs 9.9 kg with theoretically infinite range

The VELLO Bike+ Titanium is an ultra-lightweight e-bike that the company claims you can fold in eight seconds. The bike folds in multiple places, including pedals and handlebars, to make it easier to store and carry; when folded, the bicycle measures 57 x 79 x 29 cm (~22 x 31 x 11-in). VELLO also suggests that the pedelec is the lightest and most compact of its kind.

The pedelec has a 250 W motor for a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) with up to 40 Nm of torque, and the Bike+ does not need a gear shift to reach this speed. Plus, inclines of up to 8% are handled with ease. Standard, Speed Drive and Mountain Drive versions of the pedelec are available. The difference between the models is the motor, with Schlumpf Speed Drive and Mountain Drive engines used on the latter two variants, allowing you to ride mechanically at speeds up to 40 kph (~25 mph) and tackle steeper inclines.

According to VELLO, the bike theoretically has an infinite range thanks to self-charging technology. Using Turbo mode, you can ride for up to 50 km (~31 miles) between charges. The bicycle weighs 9.9 kg (~21.8 lbs) thanks to a titanium frame; without the motor, the bike weighs 6.5 kg (~14.3 lbs).
