In our review, the Lenovo Yoga Tab with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 proves to be a very successful mid-range tablet, offering impressive value for money and easily competing with more expensive models such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 or Apple iPad Air 11 despite a few compromises. The Lenovo tablet starts at around $500, including directly from the manufacturer.
This makes the Yoga Tab a recommended alternative for price-conscious users who are looking for a powerful and well-equipped tablet for school or university without wanting to blow the budget on premium models.
Read here about what compromises have to be made in view of the price.
The display, combined with the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro, is a rarity in the mid-range segment
The Lenovo Yoga Tab stands out from the iPad Air 11 not only because of its exceptional endurance, but also because of its bright 144 Hz display and high pixel density. The 11.1-inch LTPS panel in 16:10 format offers significantly more pixels per inch (340 PPI) with its 2,000p resolution, making it visibly sharper.
In our tests, the mid-range tablet reaches a maximum brightness of 743 cd/m² using an APL18 pattern. By comparison, the Apple iPad Air 11 2025 only manages around 500 cd/m², a reduction of almost 50%. Moreover, the Yoga Tab's 144 Hz display is flicker-free (no PWM) and has a significantly higher contrast ratio of around 1:1,500.
Combined with the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro, which is included in the scope of delivery, the Yoga Tab enables precise writing and drawing. A pogo pin interface is available for use with a keyboard case. The Lenovo tablet thus offers the complete package for mobile use on the go.
