Sony Inzone H6 Air specs leaked ahead of official reveal

A few days ago, leaker Billbil-kun revealed that Sony is preparing to launch a brand-new gaming headset called the Inzone H6 Air, which is expected to be a cheaper alternative to the existing Inzone H9 II. The biggest highlight was that it would be the company’s first open-back headset in the Inzone lineup. And now, the leaker has shared detailed specifications, giving us a clear idea of what to expect ahead of the official reveal on April 14.
Inzone H6 Air specs leaked
According to the leak, the Inzone H6 Air is designed to deliver a more natural and immersive sound experience. Unlike traditional closed-back headsets, this one uses an open-back design with a perforated aluminum grille. This allows air and sound to flow freely, resulting in a wider soundstage.
The headset is also expected to use speaker technology based on Sony’s MDR-MV1 headphones, but optimized specifically for gaming. On top of that, it includes advanced spatial audio features, such as 7.1 surround sound processing and 360 Spatial Sound. Sony has reportedly worked with PlayStation Studios to create optimized sound profiles, which could improve directional audio in games.
The headset also boasts a lightweight design, as it weighs just 199 grams, making it the lightest in the Inzone lineup. This should make it more comfortable for long gaming sessions. It also reportedly comes with a bidirectional boom microphone and uses AI-based noise reduction to isolate the user’s voice, helping reduce background noise.
