After releasing the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi 15S Pro on May 22, Xiaomi will set its sights towards its next launch event. The company's Redmi sub-brand is slated to debut the Redmi K80 Ultra—branded as the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition—at that event, and more information on the flagship has now surfaced.
As shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Redmi K80 Ultra has now received an official certification in China. The phone carries the model number "25060RK16C", and is said to be equipped with a 7400 mAh battery. In addition to that, the Redmi K80 Ultra is tipped to feature a Dimensity 9400+, ~100 W charging, and significantly improved haptics and speakers, the latter of which corroborates recent leaks on the Xiaomi 15T series.
Speaking of the Xiaomi 15T series, it's presumed that the Redmi K80 Ultra will eventually be rebranded as the Xiaomi 15T Pro globally. While it's unlikely to be a direct rebadge, the design and chassis, chipset, and display will likely be the same between both devices.
It's unclear when exactly the Redmi K80 Ultra will make its debut. A June launch event has been mooted, however—albeit likely towards the end of the month, with Digital Chat Station claiming the Redmi flagship will not be ready before the popular 6/18 sales. Whenever the Redmi K80 Ultra makes its debut, it's expected to be joined on stage by Redmi's compact gaming tablet.
