The Alcatel V3 Ultra is nearing its launch date which is set for May 27 in India, and while there's still a bit of waiting, Flipkart has revealed some of the phone's key specifications. Based on the specifications, the Alcatel V3 Ultra is basically a mid-range smartphone, one that has actually been announced before but under a different name.
When it arrives, the Alcatel V3 Ultra will pack a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display, which is one of the highlights of the phone, has anti-glare, low blue light, and provides a paper-like experience. The display also has a 'Max Ink' mode that can be turned on for reading. In this mode, the screen mimics an E Ink display, and can provide up to 7 days of usage and last up to 26 days in standby mode.
The Alcatel V3 Ultra will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also have three rear cameras consisting of a 108MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Flipkart didn't reveal the resolution of the front-facing camera.
Other revealed specs are a 5,010mAh battery capacity, 33W fast wired charging, dual speakers, an audio jack, and an additional button (read switch) called the NxtPaper Key. It will also have dual SIM support (eSIM + physical SIM) and the phone will be available in three colors, one of which is Hyper Blue.
If the above specs sound familiar to you, that's because they are the same as those of the TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G (available on Amazon.de for €260) that was announced last year. To put it simply, the Alcatel V3 Ultra is a rebadge of the TCL 50 Pro. Based on this, it is easy to fill in the missing specs such as the processor which should be MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 while the front-facing camera should be a 32MP sensor.
Flipkart has revealed that the Alcatel V3 Ultra will come with a charger in the box alongside a case and the stylus. Apparently, the stylus isn't stored inside the device as is the case with the Moto G Stylus (2025). Nevertheless, it is nice that it is included in the box considering the stylus for the TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G has to be purchased separately.
There's no info on how much the Alcatel V3 Ultra will cost but it should be cheaper than the TCL 50 Pro which has 512GB of storage
