The Poco F7 has reared its head again after appearing on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) earlier this month bearing the model number 25053PC47G. Prior to that, the same model number surfaced on Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) database as a global alternative to 25053PC47I that the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) had already certified.
Now, the device has turned up on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) database in Thailand, just as the Poco F7 Pro (curr. $599.99 on Amazon) and Poco F7 Ultra did before their spring releases. As is often true of NBTC listings, it not only refers to the device's model number, 25053PC47G in this case, but also its retail name.
In other words, the NBTC has effectively confirmed that 25053PC47G will launch as the Poco F7. For reference, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro carries the model number 25053RT47C. Consequently, the Poco F7 has its origins in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro which arrived less than a month ago in China.
As it stands, the Poco F7 should be available globally with hardware like a 6.83-inch and 120 Hz AMOLED display that delivers up to 3,200 nits peak brightness and Qualcomm's recent Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Unfortunately, there is evidence to suggest that Xiaomi plans to cap the Poco F7's battery capacity at 6,500 mAh, despite including a 7,550 mAh combined capacity inside the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. While a Poco F7 release date has not surfaced yet, the likes of XpertPick assert that an official arrival in June could be on the cards.
