Realme has introduced its first-generation desktop monitor, which ships with HDMI, USB Type-C and VGA connectivity. Available later this week for INR 10,999 (~US$138), the monitor will cost INR 12,999 (~US$165) after Realme's pre-sale period ends. The monitor also delivers 250 nits of peak brightness with a 1080p native resolution and a 75 Hz refresh rate.

Realme has announced a desktop monitor, marketed as the Realme Flat Monitor Full HD Black 60.5cm (23.8"). Setting the long name aside, Realme's monitor has a 23.8-inch VA panel that outputs at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to Realme, the monitor also peaks at 75 Hz with 250 nits of brightness. Supposedly, the Realme monitor offers a 3,000:1 typical contrast ratio with 100% sRGB colour space coverage.

Additionally, Realme claims that the monitor has 8 ms response times, although it is unclear whether this is GtG or MPRT. Moreover, the built-in stand offers minimal tilt adjustment, with only 5 degrees towards you and 15 degrees away from you. While Realme claims that the monitor has 178-degree viewing angles, the stand has a fixed height. Allegedly, the monitor has 6.9 mm-thick bezels on three sides too.

As Realme's marketing images below show, the Realme monitor features HDMI, USB Type-C and VGA connectivity. For some reason, Realme has not included a 3.5 mm jack, let alone any speakers. Realme will begin selling the monitor on July 29 in India for INR 10,999 (~US$138). Eventually, the monitor will retail for INR 12,999 (~US$165), albeit at an undisclosed date. Realme has not confirmed whether it intends to sell the monitor outside India yet either.
