Acer 1420P makes an appearence on Acer's US site

It has quite a lot of juice under the hood
Acer is seriously making a mark in the field of laptop market and a new research supports this fact. A recent research report indicates that Acer has overtaken Dell in worldwide PC sales. To add to these growing numbers Acer is now adding a second multi-touch Tablet PC to its burgeoning list of notebooks.
It seems that all the notebook makers were waiting for October 22nd 2009 (formal launch date of Windows 7) to launch new notebook models, as most of them had in mind that Windows 7 would be an ideal operating system for their laptops.
Following the Acer 1820P notebook is the latest Acer 1420P laptop which has some really cool features to boast about:
First, is the multi touch 11.6-inch swivel display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels that is capable of producing really crisp images. The second powerful feature is its battery life which is upto 8 hours on a single charge thanks to its all new ultra-low-voltage processor and a 5,600mAh six-cell battery.
