Toshiba Mini NB205-N310 shows down to NB205-N210
Now pay extra $50 for a better keyboard
Ever since review made for the Toshiba Mini NB205-N310 in early June, it is considered as one of the best netbooks. People who have bought NB205-N210 for $349 rather than the $399 NB205-310 are now willing to go for $399 NB205-310 or pay extra $50 for changing its key board. Toshiba Mini NB205-N210 lacks an island style keyboard, Bluetooth and a ribbed lid. But it has got the same 9 plus hours battery life and same internal specs.
A question arises: is it worth spending $50 for a much improved keyboard? And the answer is: ofcourse yes for the better looking design and Bluetooth, but the keyboard is the real differentiator between the two models. The NB205-N310’s island style keyboard has a smooth coating with well spacing between the keys. This keyboard brings a great feeling on finger tips while typing as there is a fine coating throughout the keyboard. The NB205-N210’s keyboard is plastic feeling and the panel is completely flush.
If you place both the keyboards side by side and give a try on both, you can make out the difference between the two keyboards. So now you can take a tour of a new keyboard for $50.
