Fujiyama to showcase five new netbook models at Computex

Fujiyama, a manufacturer of digital products like MP3 players, mobile phones, digital frames, Bluetooth headsets, and PC has come out with five new netbook models which will be showcased during Computex 09. These new netbook models have been named E-PC which is similar in name to the Eee PC brand of netbooks from Asus.

All these netbooks namely E-1001, E-1002, E-1003, E-1004, and E-1005 have some common features like:

·         10.2-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1024x600

·         Intel Atom N270 processor

·         1GB RAM

·         160GB hard disk

·         1.3MP webcam

·         WiFi 802.11 b/g/n

·         4in1 card reader

·         Windows XP OS

·         4-cell, 4500mAh battery

The features which differentiate them are the Mobile Intel 945GSE Express chipset on the E-1001 and the built-in stereo speaker and microphone on the E-1002. Also the E-1001 has a convertible touchscreen just like the one present on the Eee PC T91. The pricing has not yet been disclosed but it wouldn’t deviate too much from the standard netbooks that are available in the market.
