It goes on sale in HongKong at first
Viliv, the South Korean portable devices manufacturer has made some quite popular MIDs so far (S5 and S7) and of course the X70 a few months ago. Before long now, they’ve launched two new MIDs - X70 EX Premium and X70 EX Premium 3G, the latter being only different in having the 3G capability. Both of the two new models use Intel Atom Z520 processor (1.3GHz) which is pretty slow mind you but is often used in those devices where battery life is a priority, than the power.
The X70 EX sports a 7” screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and comes with 1GB RAM and 32GB solid state drive. If you feel this is not enough, it also comes with SDHC slot via which you can further add 32GB of storage space by using 32GB SDHC card.
Both models come with Wi-Fi, BT 2.0, Sirf Star GPS chip and weigh just 660gm. Starting price is 6898 HKD ($890).
