Casio has finally launched the Vintage A130WE watches in the US. These analog-style models are described by the brand as “gadgety” with a “retro-futuristic” design. They were spotted in Europe at the start of the year, officially launching in countries including the UK, the Netherlands and France earlier in March.
This new Vintage range includes four watches: the A130WE-1A, the A130WE-7A, the A130WEG-9A and the A130WEGG-1A. Each version features a chrome-plated resin casing and bezel, with a self-adjustable stainless steel band that can measure 150 to 205 mm (5.9 to 8.1 inches). The A130WE-1A and the A130WE-7A are silver, the A130WEG-9A has a gold ion-plated strap, matching the gold face, and the A130WEGG-1A has a black ion-plated band and black watch face.
The features of the A130WE digital watches are identical, supporting four stored time zones, with users offered a list of 48 cities worldwide. Tools include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 1/10-second countdown timer with a 24-hour range, and five daily alarms. An amber LED backlight helps you to read the watch face in low lighting, and these water-resistant watches are said to run for up to three years on a CR1616 battery.
The Casio A130WE-1A and A130WE-7A watches are now available in the US for $69.95 each. The A130WEG-9A and A130WEGG-1A are more expensive at $89.95 each. In Europe, these wearables start from £59.90 in the UK and €64.90 in the Netherlands.
