LG UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE previewed ahead of CES 2024 showcase with new 39-inch OLED panel
LG has introduced the 39GS95QE, another member of the UltraGear OLED family. According to the company's press release, the 39GS95QE serves as a larger alternative to the 34GS95QE, details of which we covered separately. Strictly speaking, the 34GS95QE has a higher pixel density than the 39GS95QE, considering they both share 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolutions.
As such, the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE has a 21:9 aspect ratio, as does the 34GS95QE, 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB. Additionally, the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE provides a 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms GtG response times and an 800R curvature. Moreover, LG's press release states that the monitor has a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, 98.5% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and the following connectivity options:
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 1x 4-pole headphone out (DTS Headphone: X)
- AMD FreeSync Premium Pro
- NVIDIA G-SYNC
Furthermore, the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. Thus, while LG has not provided brightness specifications yet, True Black 400 certification ensures that the monitor will deliver at least 400 nits peak brightness. Elsewhere, the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE is said to integrate a height, swivel and tilt adjustable stand but lacks any built-in speakers. LG will reveal more details about the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE during CES 2024, which is scheduled to run between January 9 and January 12 this time around.
