HyperX has announced two new modular mice that users can customize using included additional parts or 3D printed ones. Available in wired and wireless options, the Pulsefire Saga mice are compatible with PCs, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

It has been nearly five years since HP acquired HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, and it has announced many products since then. Now at CES 2025, it is expanding the portfolio with a handful of new products, including two new mice called the HyperX Pulsefire Saga and the HyperX Pulsefire Saga Pro.

The Pulsefire Saga and Pulsefire Saga Pro are described as HyperX's most customizable gaming mice, thanks to having a modular design that allows certain components to be easily swapped out. Owners will be able to create up to 16 different combinations by replacing the magnetic components such as the shell, buttons, and side buttons.

While both mice are customizable, they have their differences. For starters, the Pulsefire Saga is a wired gaming mouse with an 8K polling sensor for precise and accurate positioning. The mouse, which weighs just 69 grams, also has a paracord-style wrapped HyperFlex 2 USB-C to USB-A cable.

On the other hand, the Pulsefire Saga Pro is a wireless gaming mouse. Weighing 72 grams, it has a pro-grade 4K polling rate and can connect via Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz USB dongle. It can also be used in wired mode and has Instant Pair with compatible OMEN laptops. Its battery can provide up to 90 hours of use in 1kHz mode or up to 30 hours of use when you switch to 4K polling mode.

Included in the box of the two mice are two button covers, two shells, and two side button pairs. There are also spare mouse skates and grip tape. In addition to the included components, owners of the Pulsefire Saga and Pulsefire Saga Pro will also be able to further customize their mice by downloading additional components from the HyperX channel on Printables. These models can be personalized and then printed with a 3D printer.

Both mice feature HyperX optical switches and can be customized with the NGENUITY software, where owners can adjust polling rates, change RGB colors, and reassign buttons. The mice are compatible with PCs, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

The HyperX Pulsefire Saga and Pulsefire Saga Pro will be available in March 2025 on HP's online store for $79.99 and $119.99 respectively.
