Asus has brought plenty of new devices to Computex 2025 this year. Nestled among them is a refreshed ROG Zephyrus G14, which has arrived less than six months after Asus started selling ROG Zephyrus G14 and ROG Zephyrus G16 models with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU.
By contrast, the new model is configurable with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5060 or GeForce RTX 5070 GPUs. Still sitting within the GA403 generation like other ROG Zephyrus G14 models released this year, the GA403UM also swaps the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 for the Ryzen 9 270 that is effectively a rebadged Ryzen 9 8945HS. Consequently, the latest ROG Zephyrus G14 will likely deliver worse CPU and iGPU performance than Asus' cheaper gaming laptops like the TUF Gaming A14 FA401 (curr. $1,599.99 on Amazon).
Nonetheless, the GA403UM should provide a cheaper starting point for the ROG Zephyrus G14, which currently retails for close to $2,500 in the US. In comparison, the GA403UM will start next month for $1,799 with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Alternatively, Asus will offer the same CPU and GPU combination with 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD for $2,099.
Incidentally, Asus has created a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and GeForce RTX 5060 variant of the ROG Zephyrus G14, too. However, that SKU has only reached retail availability in China for now. As far as we can tell, other hardware remains unchanged from Asus' more expensive ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA403) variants, such as a 3K/120 Hz OLED display and a 73 Wh battery.
