Realme C25 is an all-rounder smartphone. At Rs 9,999, you are getting good battery life and daylight camera performance. Those who are looking for a phone that can do basics well can buy this smartphone. If you are someone who just wants a phone for calling, messaging, a bit of social networking and watching Youtube videos, then this device is for you. Alternatively, you can also consider buying the Poco M3, but it will cost you more.

The budget price category is brimming with multiple options. However, there are very few that offer a complete package. And Realme C25 is surely among those few. Long battery life, a big display and a processor that takes care of day-to-day activities without much complaint. These are some of the features that make Realme C25 a desirable phone. The sufficient camera performance is another positive about the smartphone. If you still want to explore more good options in this price segment- Poco M3 and Moto G10 Power are worth considering.

Priced at Rs. 9,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the Realme C25 basically offers what we have come to expect in the budget segment. While the C15 was launched at a higher price (Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant) last year, Realme has managed to offer a better processor with this model. The Realme C25 is also one of only a few smartphones with a 128GB storage variant that's priced below Rs. 11,000.

Overall for the starting price of P7,490 (4GB+64GB) and P8,490 (4GB+128GB), Realme C25 is another budget all-rounder device from Realme. It offers acceptable camera quality despite not having an ultrawide lens. But what’s good about the phone is again the huge 6000mAh battery, dual-band wifi, and better storage. The Realme UI 2.0 is packed with reliable features as well.

There are a few things to like about the Realme C25. The big battery is obviously its key strength, as is the comparatively fast charging speed. Display quality is average, but given the price, there’s little to complain about. I do like Realme’s software implementation, and the performance on the device should manages the user’s needs, at least as far as regular day-to-day apps are concerned. However, it is prudent to mention that nearly every single spec seen on the Realme C25 can be found on the Narzo 30A for a price that is Rs 1,000 lower. The only thing that the new phone has is the macro shooter, which I don’t see as a valuable addition. It makes me wonder why Realme would be inclined to offer the C25 when it has a perfectly serviceable device in the Narzo 30A.

The realme C25 is what we consider a budget smartphone because of its PHP 7,490 price tag. There’s even a launch promo where you can get it for just PHP 5,990. But for that price, you’re getting a solid build, a capable processor, large storage, triple-rear cameras, and a huge battery. If this is an entry-level device, then realme has basically set a new benchmark. And if you’re a casual user who’s just looking for a device to keep you connected online without breaking the bank, keep this device in mind.

Realme's new C-series offerings aren't exactly game-changers for this segment, but more like complementary additions to its existing budget portfolio. The Realme C25 is possibly the most interesting of the lot, while the others are price-gap fillers more than anything else. In any case, we will be testing the Realme C25 and Realme C21, so check for the full reviews of these new phones, coming up soon.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.70%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
