Or you can just use it for media consumption, or better yet, for those who need a device for their online classes, you’ve got all-day battery life. A good connection may still vary depending on your location. But for us, using mobile data works fine. And for the price of P4,990 (2GB+32GB), there’s nothing to complain about. The phone works, the phone operates smoothly thanks to the realme UI. It has everything you need. Browsing, gaming, media consumption, and a decent acceptable camera at a very low price.

There are a few things to like about the Realme C25. The big battery is obviously its key strength, as is the comparatively fast charging speed. Display quality is average, but given the price, there’s little to complain about. I do like Realme’s software implementation, and the performance on the device should manages the user’s needs, at least as far as regular day-to-day apps are concerned. However, it is prudent to mention that nearly every single spec seen on the Realme C25 can be found on the Narzo 30A for a price that is Rs 1,000 lower. The only thing that the new phone has is the macro shooter, which I don’t see as a valuable addition. It makes me wonder why Realme would be inclined to offer the C25 when it has a perfectly serviceable device in the Narzo 30A.

Despite the fact that the main camera module is 50 MP, the photo quality is far from ideal (especially when shooting at night),and the selfie camera is weak. But still, considering the cost and the set of features, the realme C25Y will satisfy the needs of an undemanding user who is looking for a basic device with decent battery life.

It does seem odd, given that the former is clearly short on a few key specs such as battery, a USB C port, and a better processor. The C25Y has the same primary camera and the same macro and depth sensors as the Narzo 50a. The only difference is that for the Rs 11,999 starting price, you are getting 128GB of storage as compared to 64GB on the Narzo 50a, but both phones do have support for a microSD card. If the internal storage is important and you don’t mind the switch back to micro-USB, the Realme C25Y could be worth a look.

The Realme C31 performed well as my daily driver. Switching between apps and multitasking on the Realme UI R edition was a decent experience, although I wouldn't suggest playing graphics-heavy games on such a phone as it's not designed to handle such activity. The phone looks modern and stylish and at first glance, it's tough to tell that it's actually a budget device. The 5,000mAh battery was also sufficient to deliver good battery life. The cameras on the C31 could've been better and ideally, Portrait mode should not have been restricted to just human subjects. If you plan on getting the Realme C31, I would suggest buying the higher RAM and storage variant since that price difference is not much and it should offer better performance in the long run. If you are looking for alternatives in the same price bracket, the recently launched Moto E32s (First look) might be an enticing option to consider.

The camera app features a few camera modes which include a Pro mode, Aperture mode, Night mode and a dedicated Macro mode but it's nowhere as feature-packed as some other smartphones offer. Weirdly, 'Photo' made is labelled as 'Capture', too, which still makes sense but it's not as simple to understand as the word 'Photo' is. It's clean and simple camera app design but it's not the quickest to respond with it occasionally not responding to a press of the shutter button and scrolling through the options is sluggish.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: it’s amazing how much phone you can get for £129 nowadays, and if that’s your absolute budget then the Realme C31 should be on your shopping list. For the money, it offers solid performance, a decent screen and camera performance that punches well above its weight. Of course, if you can afford to pay more, then you should. Not, as it turns out, for the Realme C35, which probably doesn’t justify the extra £40, but the Nokia G50 will give you a lot more bang for your buck if you can stretch to £200. If you can’t? Well, the Realme C31 will do you just fine. And you can do a lot worse.

When considering buying a cheap phone that a) looks as good as the Realme C31 and b) delivers great battery performance for such a low price, you need to ask yourself ‘What’s missing?’ and in this case, there are a few omissions which might give buyers pause. These are; a low-resolution display, poor cameras, single-band Wi-Fi and 10W charging. All of these drawbacks might not be dealbreakers for you, and might even be forgivable. But, when you consider that the Realme C35 comes with a more detailed display at Full HD, supports faster dual-band Wi-Fi, and comes with a faster-charging 18W mains adapter, and – here’s the real kicker – it only costs about £20 more, suddenly the Realme C31 does not look like a bargain. The cameras should be superior as well as the Realme C35 comes with a 50Mp main sensor. If you had the budget to splash out for something a little more powerful, then the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G, priced at around £239, might be more to your liking – it’s a 5G phone with a display that refreshes at up to 90Hz, and you can fully recharge the battery from flat in just over an hour.

Realme C31 is the latest budget range smartphone released in March 2022 and runs on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 user interface. The Realme C31 smartphone is available for around $130 (Rs 9,999 in India) approx. It carries a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with Panda glass protection. Besides this, the phone is available in 3GB/4GB RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB internal storage. You will also get a dedicated micro SD card slot. In terms of the performance aspect, the phone is powered by the 12nm – Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset and Mali-G57 GPU. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme C31 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 13MP primary, a 2MP macro, and a 0.3MP depth lens. Despite rather liking the Realme C35, it’s ultimately very hard to recommend. Yes, it’s a stunning handset for the price, with an excellent screen and adequate performance, but it’s undermined by the Realme C31 which is only slightly slower and provides better photography for £40 less. Yes, the C35 looks nicer and undoubtedly has a more colour accurate, higher resolution screen, but if you’re shopping at the budget end of the market, are these things really worth the extra outlay? Besides, if you do have a bit more money to burn, it’s probably better to fork out an extra £30 and get a Nokia G50 or shop around for a deal on the older Poco X3 NFC or Moto G50 instead. You won’t be disappointed by the C35, but Realme is a victim of its budget success. Why pay more when the C31 already offers so much?

The Realme C35 might be an extremely cheap phone, but it still attempts to make a statement with its bold and angular design. Realme has largely hit the mark on the photographic front too, courtesy a competent 50Mp main camera. On paper, a 6.6in IPS LCD doesn’t sound too impressive, but it turns out to be a sharp and accurate component. It was a smart decision going with a 60Hz refresh rate too, given that there’s a relatively humble Unisoc Tiger T616 processor driving things along. A large 5000mAh battery and speedy (for the price) 18W charging complete what proves to be a well-balanced budget package, though as ever at this end of the market, a little more money will go a long way. If you can't stretch that little bit further, this is one of the best phones you can buy for under £150.

The lower end of the budget smartphone segment offers plenty of choices these days. Realme has quite a selection of models to choose from, many of which are priced pretty close to one another. Poor camera performance and sub-par battery life are the biggest weaknesses of the Realme C35, even considering its price. Its design is the only feature that makes it stand out. As far as alternatives go, the Realme Narzo 50 is available starting from Rs. 12,999, and offers much better hardware including a MediaTek SoC, 120Hz display, higher resolution selfie camera, and 33W charging. We haven't reviewed it yet, but going by specs, it should offer much better performance than the C35. Beyond Realme, there's also the Micromax In 2B (Review). It offers a smoother (and bloatware-free) software experience and much better gaming performance at a lower price. Motorola's Moto G31 (Review) is now available at Rs. 11,999, and this phone offers a near-stock Android software experience, an AMOLED display, and a water-repellent design.

The Realme C35 is a standard budget offering from Realme, no different from its previous C series devices except this time the performance seems to be lacking just a bit. Aspects like design, battery life and the stripped-down software skin are fine, while the display is above average in terms of viewing quality. Daylight image capturing could be improved although I was satisfied with the nighttime shots. I feel that if it is better performance you are after, and are fine with sacrificing a bit on the software experience, the Infinix Note 11 (review) is a cheaper and worthy option. Xiaomi’s Redmi 9 Power (review) and Narzo 50A (review) offer bigger batteries while the Moto G31 puts in an AMOLED display at the same price. However, the Realme C35 acts as a jack of all trades and can be considered a decent option for under Rs 12,000.

The Realme C30 smartphone was announced in June 2022 and its expected price is $99 (Rs 8,499 in India) approx. The phone equips a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display panel with a 400 nits brightness rating. As far as the cameras are concerned, the smartphone packs a single 8MP primary camera lens. On the front, the phone features an 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone is powered by a 12nm – Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset and Mali-G57 GPU. Besides this, you get the software layering of the Android 11 OS based on the Realme UI Go interface. In terms of the storage department, you will receive 2GB/3GB RAM support with 32GB of internal storage. The battery section brings a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery without fast charging support. As I discussed above in the review, the Realme C33 has a good design, a decent processor, and a good battery life. The primary camera performance is decent and should be sufficient for most users. However, the performance of the phone is just enough for casual use, and I would not recommend buying this smartphone if gaming is your top priority. On top of this, the slow charging speed makes you wait for hours, and it still features an old-school micro USB port rather than the type-C port. All in all, if you’re looking for a smartphone under 10K with an eye-catching design, a nice primary camera, and a decent display, the Realme C33 can be a good option.

The Realme C33 is arguably the same as the Realme C31, which costs Rs 200 less. The latter has even got a dedicated depth and macro sensor. However, where Realme C33 excels is its design and slightly better primary camera. I personally would have liked the handset to offer better battery life, but that’s not the case. Despite what the PCMark battery test says, the Realme C33 can last only a day on regular usage. But, it is still not enough knowing that there are phones on the market such as the Infinix Hot 12 Play (review), which can last you for more than a day. All said and done, if you are looking for a budget device with an eye-catching design, decent performance, and a nice screen, you can consider the Realme C33.

The Realme C30s is a low-budget smartphone announced in September 2022, while the expected price of the phone is around $105 (Rs 8,499 in India) approx. It carries a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with 720p resolution support. Furthermore, the device runs on the latest Android 12 OS with Realme UI Go user interface and the phone holds a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery without any fast charging support. The device offers a single 8 MP camera that can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Also, the water drop notch carries a 5MP selfie lens so that you do not miss the moments. As far as the internal storage is concerned, you will attain 32GB to 64GB internal storage with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM support, while a dedicated card slot is also present. The device offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Realme C30s smartphone is available in Stripe Blue and Stripe Black color options.

The realme C30s is an affordable entry-level smartphone from realme and comes with a good design, slim form factor (8.5mm), a fingerprint scanner, an octa-core CPU, and a large 5,000 mAh battery at a price of ₹7,499. The realme C30s is a good entry-level smartphone in this range and can be considered if you have a low budget for Android smartphones. The smartphone is powered by Android Go Edition which is designed for budget smartphones with low-end hardware. If you want the full Android version and not the Go Edition, you can choose other options with the same on a slightly higher budget.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

ARM Mali-G52 MP2: Integrated mid range graphics card with 2 clusters. ARM states that the G52 series is 30% faster and 15% more efficient compared to the G51 series on the same process node.

ARM Mali-G52 MP1: Integrated mid range graphics card with 1 clusters. ARM states that the G52 series is 30% faster and 15% more efficient compared to the G51 series on the same process node. The MC1 / MP1 variant is the smallest version.

These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Imagination PowerVR GE8320: Integrated graphics card for mid-range ARM SoCs.

Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 665) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance of the GPU is between the Adreno 510 and 512/612 and therefore in the lower mid range. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2.

PowerVR GE8322 / IMG8322: Entry level graphics card based on the PowerVR Rogue architecture with support for OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1.
